Artist, Joe Venus, has a deeply felt passion and respect for the prehistoric Fremont Indian Culture. He has created on canvas a segment of time as two wary Fremont hunters quietly and carefully glide through the canyons in search of game. The Fremonts
left the story of hunting challenges and the animals they pursued on the
petroglyphs and pictographs on the walls of the canyons. The hunter skills
were important factors for this survival.
